  icw2 I enjoy SH3, 4, and hopefully 5 (after updates and mods) because of the feeling of adventure in a wartime simulation setting.

Hello all,

had SH3 and 4 in the past. Downloaded SH5 from Ubi last week and had a go. It's pretty good but a bit different to SH4. Main reason for joining here is to learn more about programming the TDC, and installing some of the great mods I've read about on google for SH5.

Hello to everyone lese as well. I've always been facinated with Silent Hunter. I'm not going to purchase SH5 until they modify it to where you are not required to be online in order to play. To have to log onto any server inor der to play a game that you supposedly purchase means that you have not actually purchased it but rather your are renting it. No way. Perhaps when SH6 comes out it will not be a "rental".
