I registered quite some time ago, took quite a break from the silent hunter series to then get back but found out i couldn't see anything nor had any access to any mods on SHMF. Found out it was cause of some idiots who apparently jumped this community with annoying bots. So here i am, proving i ain't one of those stupid bots, willing to get access again to the rest of the community that helps me enjoy my Silent hunter games.
I started on SH III like most of you i guess, but it was more for the fun of it, i didn't play it intensely and at full realism, i just enjoyed quite some time on it cause i liked the concept of it and i always kinda had a soft spot for simulations. Then SH IV arrived and its extension, that game was thrilling and i started to really grab intel on the game mechanics along with tactics and strategies used by real captains, got to read a lot on real life radars, sonars, hydrophones, various subs and torps versions etc. Was fun. Now i'm still on The 5th and enjoying my time on it, my game is heavily modded of course, to compensate for the lack of dev's love but all for the better. I like it 100% realism and modded not only to get rid of the most annoying bugs or get a harder experience but also to get as close to the real specs as it can gets. I like that cause, sure it can be challenging, but damn ain't you satisfied when you achieve a good firing solution.
Anyways that's about it, i hope to see you all at sea and i hope I'll get moved up the ladder on this forum to get access to you all.
