Older software & Windows 7
« on: September 03, 2011, 10:58:05 PM »
It has come to my attention that some older programs that seem to run
Ok on Windows 7 are not.  realno
Just for a example if you are suffering from ctd's or some games will not
start and you have an old version of Nero burning rom say Nero 7 try un-installing it
and see if it make a difference.  compsmash
It certainly did on mine the whole machine runs faster now and a game that would not start will now.  j12
It make you wonder if other programs need up-dating don't it   scrtg

About Nero, I bought it for my XP machine, and the vendor told me: don't try to run it on Vista or 7. If you run a compatibility program for win 7, it will tell you about all programs not suitable for win 7, and Nero 7 is one of them.
So it doesn't surprise me.

Alternative burning software for dvd-writers - anyone?

Before you write me a pm, ask yourself, if it ain't better to write it in the forum. It usually is.
