Hi again, thanks for the info; I forgot to say that my graphics card is a new ATi Radion 3650.
I tried ignoring the warnings and loaded the mods that had been overwritten, but when they loaded they were all grey, so I unloaded them and just loaded the ones that would.
4 would and 4 will not.
I see your point about lack of memery and I would get more, but I don't think?? my AS Rock P4v 88 board is made to take 2000Mb's.
I'll give it a go to see if the mods are working and report back later.  Regards tyler.
PS there dosen't seem to be an email notification on this site? and you didn'y explain do's? :-)

Hi U57 > didn'y explain do's? :-) Yes, I think they put the keys to near together; a thumb width apart is ideal for me.
I still don't know what Do's are?

When I answered yes to the all the mod’s that had been overwriten, they were all greyed out in the jsgme, and at the moment I have four showing enabled, so I'll start a career and see how it goes.
I take it that I can only retry loading the mod’s I want in base when the career is over, and will the mod’s work on the single missions? Regards Robert.

Ok the mod will change to a grey colour to show that part
of it is overwritten. This doesn't mean that the mod itself
is no longer working.
Text files are usually just information about the mod so
overwriting them should not cause any problems.
Its always best to install or disable mods when in port.  oldie1

Update
Hi again, I have now run the game three times and the mods have installed ok, but I'm not sure for the better, the new style merchant ships are superb in looks, but I did not find any depth info for them, and they are not sinking true to life as I hit one with over 50 shells to sink it, in real life it would be blazing from stem to stern after 5 or 6 shells, and the torpedoes have much less effect as I hit one ship with 3 impact Torp's any one of which would have opened a 50 foot hole in a ship, and she just sailed on out of sight at a good 3 knots.
The game takes longer to load up (about 12 mins) and doesn’t want to stop when I close down.
But I am still addicted, and will persevere.  Regards Robert.

Yeah. The more mods you add, and especially if you add mods which adds several more units (ships and airplanes), more traffic (larger campaign files) and better graphics (hi-res textures), then you cannot avoid longer loading time and occassionally seeing slow-downs during gameplay (lower FPS). It sucks, but it's still possible to enjoy the games.

Before you write me a pm, ask yourself, if it ain't better to write it in the forum. It usually is.

Many thanks all, now that I know what is happening I can put up with it, I have just put more mods into the enabler although they are Grey'd out I have noted your points and I will try them, however I do think the ships should not take 3 torps to go down, in real life 1 would blow a ship to kingdom come  sm02, thanks again, Regards Robert.
