!.5 Mods?

Hi Guys!   

Listen, I am playing SH4 patched to 1.5 and my extra ammo mod for 4 will not work on the German missions.  Works fine on the American tho!    I am not surprised, but does anyone know of a mod that helps the German side for ammo?    The deck gun ammo is abismal?/

most files for SH4 campaigning have two versions: American and German
thus, you would need to edit the German version instead.
I have not messed with modding for a long time so bear with me, when I cannot tell you exactly which files to edit.

I cannot help you just like that. You have to provide some info.
Upload that mod of yours and I'll take a look at it.
Print out your mod list and post it here. I presume you're running SH4 v1.5 ?

I was expecting you to tell me what files need editing Carotio as per this post?   But here is my current mod list.  It s the 'Killer Sub' that I normally use and which modifies the American ammo, but not the German side. 



The mod is in a zip file, how do I upload it here mate?   I am used to sending but e-mail myself?   

Thanx by the way for this, it would be nice to get some ammo for the Greman subs.  Oh, and yes I am patched up to 1.5

Though I would like to be allknowing, I ain't. I can give it a try, but don't expect me that I CAN help you.
Normally, it would be better to ask the author of the mod. I don't know who made it.

You can upload the mod at http://www.mediafire.com/ and then write me the direct link as reply in this thread.
Only a few modmakers get FTP upload access to SHMF.

Edit .... I would assume that the armament for a sub would be assigned to its class so whatever
File Controls the American sub armament to which you could find out about by downloading a Mod that changes it and then looking at the file structure find the name of the file that changes it. Then checking this against the German subs files and change them to suit its that easy

Whether you want to use Sid The Sailor or PoopEye is your choice of course. But it's actually a good advice to use the same user name in related forums such as Subsim and SHMF, so if you want, your alias here can be changed to PoopEye.

Okay, I have taken a quick look upon that mod. It consists of several SIM-files, and god knows what has been done to them. I simply have no idea. As I have stated previously, it would be much better to find the author of the mod and ask which settings should be edited. And all of this can be edited with help from Skwasjers S3D. It may be a mod, which you have found at Subsim, so try to find out who made it and then contact him.

I had a peep at de files misen and it looked all 'gobledigook' to me as well mate.    I do appreciate yer taking yer time here shipmate, I really do.   As far as mi name change goes, I would sooner change 'poopeye' over to this name here if'n I could bud?
