I have this problem using windows 7 I installed my copy of SH4 which off the disk is
Version 1.3.1 the auto update would not update the game so I used gameshadow to do it
Which it did taking it up to 1.4.0 but then said no other versions are available so what is this
1.5 version that all the mods need installed ??.  scrtg

Included on the u-boat add on dvd.
Well worth to buy. It ain't so expensive, you might even be able to find it in a bargain bin or in a web shop.
Besides most mods today are made for the use with 1.5.
