i have recently started to use this mode and after the difficulty of finding the subs.. i found i could not set the depth of the charges (they explode around 30 ft)..my quary became aware of this and simply dived to 100ft and avoid all my efforts to destroy them..ggrrrrrr....is it possible to adjust them and if so how?

It sounds to me as if you're using one of these mods where you can control a vessel on the surface. I'm not really familar with those: I haven't tried them, and thus haven't produced any such mods, so you have sort of put your post in the wrong board.
