I've been sailing the seas of Silent Hunter since ... well, since discovering that SH2 was better than Aces of the Deep, Up Periscope or Submarine Simulator. I took a break after sailing SH4 to do some traveling in outer space ... but found that the salt in my veins begged for more underwater excursions. Ergo, I returned ... with a better computer and a birthday gift (SH5). Happily, I see that the modding community has done a fantastic job of improving an already excellent simulation.
