Hello, all. I'm a big fan of SH3. Recently repurchased it and played the crap out of it for a month or so. Recently purchased SH4 and am trying to install it on my laptop using Windows 8.1. Most suggestions I've found online tell me to install it in my C drive in it's own folder. I did but am still having great difficulty. If I click on my newly installed .exe file, nothing happens at all. If I click on the .exe file on the DVD itself, at least I get the SH4 front page menu. But then when I choose Play, again nothing happens. I would really like to get back underwater here, but I must be doing something stupid. I'd imagine continuing into SH5 when I burn through SH4 but one thing at a time.... Thanks in advance for any suggestions and I look forward to some mods later on. tiphat

Your SH4 needs to up-date itself. or else you will need the disk in to run it and the problem with that is you need to install SH4 where the disk wants it so it will find the program to run it when starting the disk. Hope this helps

Great fan of all of Silent Hunter game. I enjoy making SH as realistic as I can with The mods found on different sites. I was wondering if I may download The Intercontinental Radio Pack?
