Yeah, but it is not working at all , so don't bother DL it! Also u don't need to contact the Maker - he is very busy and has no time to answer but will delete ur postings on his website if u dare to ask what is wrong with the 4.0 and why he ain't reacting on comments the way it should be ! I'm very disappointed - his work has been good so far and I have been a loyal fan and player and giving feedback and bugreports a lot - but this is just annoying and his behaviour now is not acceptable for me - Please post here if u have the same probs with 4.0 ! I have tried days to get it running but it won't! Han is surely no Jedi!  arggggggg  Good to know that there are so many good people working on SH to make it better , so I will look for other mods now! 2thup

Yes, there is a problem with 4.0, but the 3.1 seems to run without problems.

On the other hand, critism on the personal level is a bit low. Every modder has a right to a real life next to modding.
I'm sure when he gets some free time again, he will adress the problems...

And remember: All mods are available for free.  icw2

I don't agree with you. Probably you don't know how to install this supermod.

Example for you and many others ...

Here is the solution for installing WAC 3.0:

My first installation did not work either. But my second one was OK.

SH3 with 1.4. Click on sh3.exe with your right mouse and go to properties.

Click tab Version and it must be 1.4.0.1.

1. Install SH3 in: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII

Do not use MultiSH3.

2. Copy the SilentHunterIII (complete game) in the same directory e.g. C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Copy_of_SilentHunterIII (this is the copy name of the original SilentHunterIII folder)

Rename the original SilentHunterIII to SilentHunterIII-ORIG ... so you know this is the original (clean) one.

Rename the copy Copy_of_SilentHunterIII folder to SilentHunterIII ...

Install JSGME mod enabler in the same directory e.g. C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII

Make a folder in SilentHunterIII and call it MODS.

3. Extract only the first WarAceCampaign_3.1.7z.001 to:

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\MODS

... this will take about 40 minutes!

After the install in JSGME update it with WarAceCampaign_4.0.7z (over write existing files)!

This will take about 10 minutes.

Start the game click on the sh3.exe in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII

Play the game.

That’s one great deck gun model you have placed in your mod
Although I have Vista so running your mod is just no good
I use the deck gun on my subs in my stock mod
Thanks for the chance to use it although
I have modified the guns settings and also the flak guns to increase the rate of fire
And the turning speed of the guns.
As it was similar to GWX speed and not the stock games.  shv1

I have tried everything to get the 7zip to work for the WAC mod . It says that you need the 3.1  in order to play the version. Am I correct? Does winwar work on these mods. I have the problem with LSH3 too. I would like to play these super mods.

1) yes, you need 7zip to unpack all the mods.
2) yes, you need to enable 3.1 in JSGME first. But CAREFULL: 4.0 is not in working order for everyone. Something needs to be fixed by HanSolo78 first. He's working on it...
3) Do NOT mix WAC and LSH3. Creating a mod soup will only give you trouble. Don't mix any supermods unless specifically mentioned by the modder.
