News:

SHMF has been alive for almost 6 years thanks to a few dedicated members.
However, most visitors were ungrateful and did not appreciate the reliable hosting of mods for our SH games.
Hence, the domain: silenthuntermods.com has been abandonned, and the forum itself has been saved on another subdomain in order to save some valuable posts. However, the mods...  well, there ain't room for them on the server, so the download links don't work anymore for most of them, unless the mods will be put up elsewhere by the modders themselves...
Personally, my own mods will be stored at mediafire, asap...

[REL] The SeaWolf U-57 SH5 Mods Collection

SeaWolf U-57 Officer Icons Vtdw1.0

This mod places the SH3 Officer icons into The TDW UI mod if
you are using the SH3Style contained within The Dark Wraith UI's version 3.
This mod is self contained so just extract it and place it in your Mods folder
and then enable it using GSJME making sure you do so after The Dark Wraith mod.
or if you prefer you can replace the DDS file direct.

Description of how the mod works. It replaces the officer faces seen on the main screen with that of their stations until you click the station then the officer will appear

The SeaWolf All Icons Mod V1.1

This icon mod changes The Dark Wraith standard icons to coloured ones
This version has been tested with New UIs version 3 and above
It is JSGME ready so once extracted just place it in your mods folder
(making sure it is activated after The Dark Wraiths UIs mod)
The mod may contain different icons to the SH3 version this is because there are
new features incorporated in the new UIs mod.
Any icon that is not available due to ether you being surfaced or dived with appear darkened and back to the standard icon this will change when item is available

The SeaWolf all Icon bars version 2

Version 2 contains icons for the teleport to station bar.
Any location that is not available for any reason will display a yellow box around the icon
As seen in the below image I have no Deck Gun on my VIIC41
(If you are using TDW version 1.9.0 any other versions it will just be blanked out with the original icon showing)
there are also so small changes to other icons
(I'm not sure about the second icon I might change it soon)



This version is for use with TDW mods version 2.0 and lower
It is not compatable with 2.1 and above

to anyone who posted an image I changed as an Icon

The SeaWolf Torpedo Tweak V1.

Sick and tired of your torpedo's going bang  arggggggg
how about given them some BOOM!
Now you should not need anymore than two torpedo's to sink any ship
(even those big old tankers that usually take three)
some only need one now but you never know.

As with all my version mods they are JSGME ready
Just unpack them and place them in the Silent Hunter 5 Mods folder

The SeaWolf Weapons Tweak Mod v1

This mod increases the destructive power of you weapons
Now your torpedo's have even more bite to them
Your Deck Gun will reload faster and hold more munitions
The Flak Guns will also reload faster and have more shells available 
These alterations will aid your campaign progress until the ships fight back  lam1
The changes will only take place on reloading in base
(Although I'm not sure if using another port or Milk Cow will activate the change I have not tried it)
This mod is JSGME ready just extract it and you good to go

The SeaWolf U-57 All icons updated and updated Teleport bar Version 3

This is the latest version of my combined icons & teleport bar Mod
I have updated quite a few icons to go better with the graphics of SH5
hope you like this version it is compatible with TheDarkWraith mod version 2.1
and has the new officer wounded bars contained
screen shots of the bars running in game







Description of Mod

This mod changes the standard  Officer Icons and sub icons and also the Teleport bar
for coloured icons some of which are in-game screens cropped
this mod is fully combatable with TheDarkWraiths mod version 2.1
as always this mod is JSGME ready so just extract the files and place them into the SH5 mods folder and away you go
if any of the icons have come from pictures posted by other persons and you do not want them included please let me know
with thanks to anyone who's part image I may have used

The SeaWolf alternative icons with Teleport bars set 3.1

This version of the mod has small changes to it
The first is that now all closed/unselected officers are shown as stations
The second change is to the wounded and dead officer icons as can be seen below
I just like this version better and decided to release it for you to use also if you wish to do so

The SeaWolf GunSub Mod Version1

This mod will give you a VIIC41 sub as a career start
It will have all the standard items of the VIIC41.
This mod also includes the weapons up grade mod.
 So She is one cheeky little head turner
And as your Crew are trained up she will become even more deadlier.






Please read this carefully.


This is a Career start sub so yes you have to start a new career
for the mod to take effect.
The default VIIC41 has no deck gun but it is available as a up-grade
So what you need to do is simple
As soon as the new career starts without tutorial mission walk up to the
officer and click him and choose start patrol and answer
Yes to start without choosing a mission
When you appear on the bridge click the docking icon and Dock
You can now go to the upgrade officer and fit a deck gun to your sub
It is advised not to change anything else on your sub at this time
As this will most likely cause you game to become unstable in some form
Once you have the Deckgun return to the sub and off you go.
From this point on you can do whatever on returning to port

This Mod is JSGME compatible so as always just unpack it and
drop it in your Mods folder

This version is a working beta version of the mod for you to try out.
This means I can withdraw it at anytime if problems arise.

That’s very strange indeed my mod would not change any settings that handle the periscope
Functions I would suggest that you have a problem with another mod and/or a conflict
Between mods.
If this problem persists after you save the game and then re-entre it then you might have to start
Disabling the mods until the one at fault is found.
If you are using the latest version of TDW mod then the raise & lower is done by buttons
Situated by the torpedo select buttons and also the buttons “page up” and “page down” raises/lowers one
And “Delete” “insert” raises/lowers the other
