I've been playing sims for years and originally I started out on Flight Simulators.  After that it just escalated and I quickly went from flight sims to combat sims to various other types.  I heard about Silent Hunter some time ago and I started playing it and came to love it.  Nothing beats that tense feeling when a destroyer is hunting you.  Especially if you come out victorious.    Only recently did I hear about this site and I'm disappointing at the current disposition it's in.  Trolls and flamers seem to love targeting lesser known groups and niches in the internet community because they feel there won't be any kind of repercussions due to animosity.  I hope one day things will somehow settle down, but I don't see that in the foreseeable future.
