10/10 Denmark-Sweden & 14/10 Denmark-Hungary

Denmark beated Sweden 1-0 saturday and was thus allready qualified for WC in South Africa
The match wednesday against Hungary was thus just a test match, but still I had hoped for a better result than what we got. Hungary beated Denmark on our own national stadium, a defeat here has not happened since 1981, so it was a bad that our team didn't at least get 1-1, which could have happend if the referee hadn't missed the obvious penalty in the first half.

Anyway, Denmark is qualified, so South Africa, here Denmark comes...  j12

Anyone seen the Ireland - France match ?

Henry's hand was clearly on the ball. I doubt that Ireland will get that replay they demand.

England got its "goal" in 1966 aswell ... AND THAT WASNT ONE EITHER  flammoe

Thierry Henry even admitted that the ball had touched his hand, but claimed it was by misfortune...

yeah, right, twice...  realno

I still think UEFA and FIFA should include a tv-judge at the sideline, stepping in when he seens something, which none of the others on the field see...

Anyone seen the Ireland - France match ?

If you click on the link next to the line up of countries above, to the right of the Ireland-France notion, you'll be guided to an Irish page having a video from French television channel TF1, where they show how TH touches the ball, and the French commentators even say it out clear that TH touches the ball 100%.

It's just another scandal, which makes the need for a tv-judge more and more necessary, if spectators and sponsors are to embrace the sport. If not, more and more will turn their back like it happend to the cycling sport after all the scandals of doping...

At least, Charlize Theron - that very beautiful woman  inlove69 and sadly married to an Irishman - made fun at the rehersal to this days drawing of nations. When the name of France popped up, she said Ireland instead...  rofl2006
Maybe that's why at the real thing, she was just co-host and the French host (his clear accent revealed him) pronounced the names instead.

Anyway, the drawings has been made.
Netherlands, Japan and Cameroun is the opponents of Denmark.
I guess it could be worse...

Are you satisfied with yours?

Now there's just about 1½month till the games start.
Have any of your teams played any friendly matches yet?
Usually, they play 2 matches before the games start just to make the final decision for the coaches to pick the players... And I don't seem to recall having seen any matches played by our national team, so just wondered if any of yours have played any yet?
