First of all, it was endlessly raining and also cold and secondly ive heard that it was the most horrible cheap trash with unsuitble bad music you can imagine in which the state guests like Kohl, Gorbachev and Bush had sort of secondary roles.

The whole show was orchastrated by a tv channel, so you can imagine how trashy and embarrasing it was.

Der Spiegel wrote a article about it which had the headline "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this bullshit"

Im glad i totally forgot to watch it in tv too.  ;D

Im sure in 10 years the government will take the festivites into their own hands again.  sm08
